BIOFABRICATE is the annual summit for the emerging world of grown materials. We're excited to be hosted this year by Parsons School of Design on 5th Avenue, NYC.

From yeast and bacteria to mushrooms and mammalian cells, international attendees will discover disruptive research, and companies, literally growing the materials of the future. From architecture to apparel, BIOFABRICATE is THE event to experience how biotechnology is facilitating a new material revolution.

2016 SPEAKERS

Our single track speaker programme will include keynotes from pioneering biomaterial, biotech and biofabrication start-ups along with key researchers, designers, thought leaders and academics.

DESIGN LAB

Our unique Design Lab exhibit showcases the future before it arrives. From biomaterial experiments and prototypes, to speculative investigations and the tools enabling this revolution, attendees will uncover what's next.

BIO LAB WORKSHOPS

This year our Bio Lab will kindly be hosted in

The New School University Science Lab

The Bio Lab gives attendees the opportunity to experiment with synthetic biology and living organisms in a real scientific laboratory. Learn to engineer your own colors, hack a webcam to create a game with algae or paint with living bacterial ink.

Sign up today. Space is limited and only open to Biofabricate attendees.
